License terms and commercial use
Commercial use of TerraZoner is permitted and encouraged. Every membership covers client work. The plans differ in one thing only: how many people sign in.
Individual: one account
One login, and it may be shared by people working the same client files. An agronomist and their assistant or data technician can share an Individual membership as long as they are working together on the same accounts.
Built for solo practitioners, independent consultants and small operations where one person leads the agronomic work and support staff assist.
Team, Corporate and Enterprise: a seat each
For organizations where several agronomists or consultants each carry their own client relationships. Every seat is its own login with the full platform behind it. Everyone on the plan must work for the same organization, on one company email domain (all @yourcompany.com, for example). The plan administrator sets sub-accounts up and manages them.
Fits the license
- One agronomist shares an Individual membership with the data technician who processes the same client fields.
- A three-person firm with one lead agronomist and two support staff, on an Individual membership.
- A company with three independent agronomists, each with their own clients, on a Team plan (3 seats).
- A large agronomy firm with nine agronomists on an Enterprise plan (10 seats: admin + 9).
Doesn't fit
- Two independent agronomists, each with their own client relationships, sharing one Individual membership.
- A consulting team with four lead agronomists sharing one Individual membership.
- Handing Team or Corporate logins to people outside the company email domain.
- Reselling or sublicensing TerraZoner access to other consultants or businesses.
Sharing what you make
Zone maps, shapefiles and every other output made with TerraZoner may be shared freely with clients as part of your consulting service. There is no restriction on handing TerraZoner-made zone maps to the growers who farm the ground.
Not allowed on any plan
- Sharing login details with people who should have a seat or membership of their own.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling or modifying the software.
- Getting around authentication, usage tracking or licensing controls.
- Building derivative products on TerraZoner's code or methods.
