Every acre gets a severity call, not one number for the whole field.
A field never loses evenly — the low end drowns out while the bench beside it holds. TerraZoner compares crop vigor between the two dates and rates every acre on a severity ladder, from total loss down to no apparent loss, plus a clearly marked "not assessable" class for any ground cloud hid on either date. Flood and hail acres are counted from moderate loss up. Drought acres are counted only at the severe-stress level — a drought map is a stress signal, not a confirmed loss number, so moderate stress is mapped but kept out of the headline.
A report built for the claim conversation, not just the map.
Add the owner, the legal land location, and a preparer name, accept the conditions the report is prepared under, then download a PDF: the damage map and estimated affected acres on the cover, the before-and-after imagery side by side, and a summary table with acres in every severity class. Hand it to an adjuster, a landlord, or a grower knowing exactly what it is — documentation support for the conversation, not a substitute for a field inspection.
One thing to be straight about: the acres on the report are an estimate from satellite imagery. The adjuster decides what gets accepted, and no insurer is bound by this map. TerraZoner takes no liability for a claim that comes back with a different number.
